Crisis and Mental Health Support
The Trevor Project
24/7 crisis support via phone, text, and chat for LGBTQ+ youth. Also offers research and educational resources for families and allies.
Trans Lifeline
A peer-led crisis hotline run by and for trans people. Offers emotional support, name change microgrants, and more.
NAMI – LGBTQI Resources
The National Alliance on Mental Illness provides mental health education and support groups, including resources for LGBTQ+ youth and families.
Inclusive Therapists
A directory of affirming, trauma-informed therapists with filters for race, gender, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ identity. Many providers offer sliding scale rates.
A group practice providing trans-competent, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming care—including individual therapy, expressive arts therapy, executive function coaching, and neuropsychological assessments. Therapy is offered in person in Acton, MA and virtually across MA, NH, and VT, with coaching services available nationwide.
Legal Rights, Policy, and Advocacy
ACLU – Trans Justice Work
Provides legal advocacy and litigation support to protect trans rights, especially in education, healthcare, and housing.
Transgender Law Center
One of the largest trans-led legal organizations in the country. Offers policy updates, legal guides, and rights-based resources.
Advocates for Trans Equality
A national organization committed to creating legislative change and fighting anti-trans policies at the state and federal levels.
Trans Youth Emergency Project (TYEP)
Emergency response initiative supporting families navigating anti-trans laws, including relocation help, legal support, and care access.
GenderLib
Provides easy-to-understand, accessible information about gender identity, gender-affirming care, and related topics for youth, parents, and educators.
Human Rights Campaign – Youth & Young Adults

Funding & Travel Access
Elevated Access
A volunteer network of private pilots who provide free flights for people needing to travel across state lines for gender-affirming care or reproductive healthcare. Discreet, compassionate, and completely free of charge.
Move to Thrive – Keshet
A support program for LGBTQ+ individuals and families forced to relocate for safety or access to affirming care, including financial assistance, community-building, and resource navigation.
Point of Pride – THRIVE Fund
Offers financial assistance to trans individuals facing anti-trans legislation or needing to travel to access gender-affirming care. Part of Point of Pride’s broader suite of support programs.
